As in previous games in the series, players are free to improve each vehicle's acceleration, top speed, and handling by customizing its attributes. A total of 46 events are featured in GT Advance 3, equally divided into street races and professional circuits. When players tire of competing against computer opponents, they can challenge a friend via Game Link Cable for simultaneous head-to-head action. As players advance through circuits, achieve top lap times, and unlock cars, the game's built-in battery backup will save their data so they can resume progress at a later time.
