Sega invites fans to lace 'em up and hit the hardwood for another season of NCAA College Basketball. Every Division I school in the country is represented, both on the court and in the stands with fans, bands, and cheerleaders. New to the series is the game's ESPN-style presentation, with themed menus, analyst commentary, and contextual cut-scenes for the feeling of playing prime-time on the nation's biggest cable sports network. Many of the enhancements and improvements in this year's release relate to the physical play on the court. Player collisions are designed to have realistic results, with special attention paid to hard fouls and powerful dunks. Dribble moves allow players to dart left or right and spin away from trouble. Shot blocks require precise hand-to-ball contact. Players will even make slight adjustments in midair to release their jump shots at just the right angle.
