The Tick (Super Nintendo Entertainment System, 1994)

Product Specs
Description
Rising from the depths of obscurity to mainstream popularity in 1994, Ben Edlund's farcical superhero creation The Tick got his own cartoon, a line of action figures, and a videogame for the Super NES and Genesis. At 400 pounds, the seven-foot-tall, nigh-invulnerable Ninja-hating super hero is hilarious with his blue tick outfit and his inept (though miraculously successful) crime-fighting techniques. In The Tick for the Super NES you must punch, kick, jump and climb your way through 44 levels (set up as 16 chapters of a story) of Ninja mayhem. Along with fighting Ninjas, you must also face enemy bosses, clowns and an assortment of kooky, but deadly villains with names such as Dentures, Toot Toot, Deadly Nose, Eyebrows Mulligan and Sagin the Wolf. During the slug-fest, you'll receive help from your sidekick Arthur, a Ninja-hating moth. Also on hand to give an assist are an assortment of super pals, such as Paul the Samurai, an honorable warrior from Japan, Oedipus, the heroic hostage, and the American Maid, a patriotically dressed super heroine.
