Fans of snow and ice can use motion controls to exercise and compete for medals without ever stepping outside in Winter Stars. There are 11 disciplines to conquer, including Downhill Skiing, Bobsled, Curling, and Figure Skating, and events take place in 18 unique, snow-covered locations. Wii gamers can spin, jump, and swoosh on their Balance Board in the career mode, all the while earning points to upgrade their character's outfits and equipment. A "Family" mode is designed to let players of all ages compete, while up to four gamers can head online for multiplayer showdowns.
