EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontiers (Sony PlayStation 2, 2003)

Product Specs
Description
EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontiers expands the persistent world of Norrath with more territory to explore, stronger monsters to slay, a new playable race, and hundreds of additional items and spells to earn while adventuring. An in-game tutorial has been included to help new players get accustomed to the controls and interface, and an in-game link to customer service is designed to minimize the frustrations that can occur while experiencing an online universe for the first time. Frontiers lives up to its name by offering intrepid explorers over 162 square miles of new lands to discover, from the red rocks of Odus to the bubbling magma found in Lavastorm's deadly streams. The player models and armor have received a number of visual enhancements, so players can customize their character's appearance and see the fruits of their labor directly onscreen. The new playable race, the ogre, possesses a deadly combination of brute force and powerful magic capabilities, and characters of all races will be able to enjoy "expanded content" once they reach certain high levels. Since EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontiers is an online-only game, allowing thousands of players to participate simultaneously, requirements include owning the PS2 Network Adaptor as well paying a monthly fee of nine dollars and 99 cents for unlimited adventuring and game updates.
