Description
Television heroine Buffy Summers makes her Game Boy Advance debut in THQ's Wrath of the Darkhul King. Taking place during the time period of the show's fourth season, Buffy must face The Gentlemen, Adam, and a new demon adversary known as the Darkhul King to save the troubled city of Sunnydale. Cast in the role of the Chosen One, players will use martial arts as well as an assortment of weapons to vanquish vampires, demons, and other creatures of the night. In addition to her trusted stake, Buffy can acquire throwing axes, laser rifles, crosses, torches, flamethrowers, daggers, and more to help fulfill her duties as the Slayer. Weapons can also be combined with items such as holy water to deliver more powerful attacks. A total of 16 side-scrolling levels are available, taking players across Sunnydale's college campus and through crypts, museums, forests, cemeteries, and other locales. Some environments feature breakable windows and objects like doors, benches, and walls. In addition to her skills in combat, Buffy must use her heightened agility to leap past crumbling floors, climb hand over hand across pipes, duck underneath traps, or push items to use as platforms. Battery backup saves progress after each level as digitized cut-scenes help further the storyline.
