Description
With its release coinciding with 2006's The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, The Fast & the Furious on PlayStation 2 focuses on the underground sport of drift racing. Players must perfect the art of power sliding through busy Tokyo streets by monitoring an optional "drift indicator" and carefully gliding across zigzagging courses and hairpin turns. One hundred licensed sports cars are available to tune with more than 500 body kits from authentic JDM manufacturers. Paying homage to the game's cinematic roots, the developers have incorporated a context-sensitive camera system that offers multiple views of cars and roads during competition. Online support is included for up to four players, while two players can compete on the same system via split-screen display.
