Bio F.R.E.A.K.S. (Sony PlayStation 1, 1998)

Product Specs
Description
Control one of eight cybernetically enhanced Bio-Freaks warriors in this unique 3D fighter from the creators of the popular Mortal Kombat. Set in an apocalyptic future, the freaks have the ability to fight with combos and fire machine guns and missile launchers. The block action can also elicit a full body shield that protects you from bullets and other projectiles. A nice twist in Bio F.R.E.A.K.S is that you can fight on land and in the air with the typical Mortal Kombat/SteetFighter button combinations (two punch, two kick) while implementing two side step buttons and a fire button (for your weapon). The huge, lethal (a flame pit, lava, and giant rollers) environments allow for full 3D movement either in the air or on the ground. Bio F.R.E.A.K.S also offers an option to 'turn-off' the gore and blood, and options to turn off the shield, flight, and fire capabilities for a more traditional fighting game. Beyond the arcade mode, Bio F.R.E.A.K.S also offers a survival, team, versus, and practice mode for more replay value!
