That wicked cat Sylvester has decided to give up chasing Tweety for a while and has come down to Mexico in search of more small animals to harrass. His gang of alley cats has snatched the entire mouse population, save for one. The cats won't begin their feast until every rodent has been captured, but that last one is a slippery little devil. It's Speedy Gonzales, the fastest mouse in Mexico, and he won't give up on his friends. Join Speedy as he rushes off to stop Sylvester and his gang. In Speedy Gonzales: Aztec Adventure, players take control of the nimble little mouse in an quest to rescue his pals. The feisty Gonzales will have to take on six different worlds, ranging from the dusty streets of his home village to fiery lava fields overflowing with bubbling magma. Each of these worlds is divided into three different levels of action in which Speedy will need to avoid not only treacherous enemies, but spikes, pits and other nasty traps just waiting to trip him up. As he moves through the worlds, Speedy can collect cheese to earn bonuses and keep him going. At the end of a world, he'll meet one of Sylvester's henchmen and if he can beat this enemy, he frees some of his friends and gains a password that will allow him to continue. At the end of all the worlds, he'll go face to face with Sylvester himself.
