Description

Based on the film The Hunt for Red October, the Soviet submarine Red October is on a mission to defect to the United States. Players take control of Captain Ramius, commander of Red October, and must navigate through the depths of the ocean evading enemy ships whenever possible. The game features side-scrolling levels with the bottom quarter of the screen displaying the sub's ammunition, a map, and the current score. A two-player option is available via a link cable, allowing players to command a variety of ships in head-to-head battles.
