Description
An adventure game patterned after the 1988 film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit finds the luckless hare on a quest to clear his name and rescue his beloved wife Jessica from the villainous Judge Doom. Viewed from an overhead perspective, the game has players exploring locales from the movie, such as the Ink & Paint Club, Eddie Valiant's office, and the ACME warehouse. Each area features a number of clues, people to talk to, and objects to interact with. Important items are stored in Roger's inventory and are used to surmount the obstacles and puzzles impeding his progress. Along the way, Roger will enlist the aid of Baby Herman, Dolores, and Benny the Cab. As in the movie, the Weasels -- Greasy, Psycho, Stupid, and Wheezy -- will attempt to foil Roger's progress at every turn and must be fought off using a variety of cartoon-inspired implements, including a mallet and the Toon gun. Though he possesses only meager health reserves, Roger can eat carrots strewn about the environments to replenish lost health during confrontations with the Weasels. Who Framed Roger Rabbit utilizes a password system to record progress.
