Nightshade (Nintendo Entertainment System, 1992)

Product Specs
Description
Evil crime boss Sutekh has taken over Metro City. Mark Gray, encyclopedia researcher by day and super sleuth Nightshade by night, has sworn that justice will be served and that he will bring down Sutekh. Clothed in a trench coat, fedora, and shades, Nightshade is a cross between Dick Tracy, Batman, and Sherlock Holmes. As Nightshade you must reason your way through more than 100 screens of action and adventure. Not only will you examine clues, interrogate townsfolk, and find useful items such as keys, bombs, and crowbars, but you must also fight from time to time when you run across a bad guy who won't cooperate. If you lose the fight, you'll be placed in one of many death-traps, forcing you to use your power of reason to help you to escape. The game is over when you can't free yourself from a death-trap or when you have rid the city of the evil Sutekh.
