Wii U users put themselves in the middle of ABC's hit gameshow as they run, duck, jump, and contort their bodies through a variety of wacky obstacle courses in Wipeout 3. Viewed from an over-the-shoulder perspective, players guide their character through 12 new winter and summer courses, avoiding familiar pitfalls like the Sweeper Arms and Big Balls, and watching replays of outrageous spills. In multiplayer users can compete against one another in four-player split-screen, or play the exclusive Wii U five-player mode Trap Attack. Trap Attack allows four players to run the courses using Wii Remotes while a fifth player controls the obstacles on the Wii U GamePad's touch screen. The touch screen can also be tapped in order to unleash snowball or water balloon attacks. Another Wii U exclusive is the ability to play Wipeout 3 without the use of a television by moving the action to the gamepad's screen.
