Gamers go on an epic journey to help restore the pieces of a young woman's spirit in Tales of Hearts R. Players control Kor Meteor, a boy trained to be a great swordfighter by his grandfather, as he attempts to save Kohaku Hearts from a curse that renders her emotionless. The action finds gamers forming a party, exploring a variety of environments, and engaging in real-time combat in 3D battle arenas. Anime cut-scenes keep the story moving, a new battle system lets players knock foes out of the sky, and characters can be upgraded by finding items and earning combat experience.
