Compile Heart's quirky RPG returns with a new protagonist and more worlds to conquer in Mugen Souls Z. Chou-Chou, the power-hungry star of the first game, has been absorbed by a coffin, leaving gamers to control the dim-witted new heroine Syrma as she attempts to recombine the power of the Twelve Gods to protect against a mysterious power that threatens to destroy the universe. Players can freely explore each of the 12 zodiac-based planets, uncovering secrets, digging up treasure, and dealing billions of points of damage in turn-based combat. When not in the field, gamers return to their ship G-Castle to visit the weapon shop, the clothing shop, or trigger events that keep the story moving. Throughout their adventure players will come into contact with other characters that might join the battle party, and the game is designed to offer hours and hours of action thanks to a level cap of 9,999.
