NBA Showtime is a two-on-two arcade-based game that takes place in 28 arenas around the league. There are over 130 professional NBA, players in addition to hidden characters. Play with top talents like Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison, Kevin Garnett, Alan Iverson, Kobe Bryant, and of course, Shaq. There's also the ability to create a player and adjust his individual skills and attributes with options such as big heads, favorite court, hotspot, jersey, and even nickname. Codes galore affect gameplay as you quickly enter them in during the matchup screen -- special initials can transform your player into someone or something else. Those who enjoyed NBA Jam will notice that the on fire and alley oop moves are back, but now in 3D. Coaching tips are included as well that will remind you of controls and provide advice, tricks, and other possibilities.
