NBA ShootOut '97 gives you control of 29 NBA teams and both All-Star teams. If you want to alter any teams you can easily do so with a variety of options: trade players, release players, sign a free agent, and create players. Modes of play include exhibition, season, playoffs, and finals. NBA ShootOut '97 also gives you team strategies, five camera angles, and three levels of difficulty to choose from. Players are capable of performing tomahawk dunks, cross-over dribbles, and many other specialty moves. Add a Multi-Tap adapter and you can have eight players on the screen at the same time.
