UFC: Throwdown (Nintendo GameCube, 2002)

Product Specs
Description
This release represents a continuation of Crave's reality-based martial arts series that began on Sony's original PlayStation and also produced games for the Game Boy Color, the Sega Dreamcast, and Microsoft's Xbox. Similar to earlier games in the franchise, Ultimate Fighting Championship: Throwdown features over 25 real-life competitors available for play, including 2001 light heavyweight champ Tito Ortiz. Once again, players will also have the opportunity to create their own wrestlers from scratch, choosing from a selection of body types, faces, and tattoos. New training opportunities, including mini-games and sparring, help to ensure that aspiring wrestlers are up to snuff before they hit the arena. When it's time to throw down for real, battle can take place in an Arcade mode, a Tournament mode, the UFC mode, the Champion mode, or the customizable Career mode, which features specialty tournaments that cater to particular moves and fighting styles.
