Inspired by the original Disney film, Disney's The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure features clips and characters from the movie, activities that make use of the DS' microphone and stylus, musical mini-games, and treasure hunting. Navigate Ariel through 13 levels of gameplay including musical multiplayer wireless mini-games such as playing along with the Barnacle Band, and uncovering buried treasure by rubbing the stylus over a dirt patch, tapping the stylus against the screen to remove crabs and coral from the artifact, and then blowing into the microphone to get rid of the last layer of dust. During the game Ariel can collect shells and barnacles that teach Flounder tricks to perform for your amusement. With tips and hints from King Triton and Flounder you can tackle missions such as freeing crabs from cages.
