The fourth official expansion for Blizzard's massively popular MMO, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria takes place after the Cataclysm, and offers gamers a host of new features, including a new class and an entirely new playable race. The Pandaren are a race of anthropomorphic giant pandas living on a continent heretofore separated from the rest of Azeroth, only to have a fierce naval battle between the Horde and the Alliance reveal their foggy home. With no immediate alliance to either side of the long-running conflict, the Pandarens may save the world, or help bring about its end. Pandarens are masters of martial arts and unarmed combat, as are members of the new Monk character class. Monks are further broken down into three specializations: Windwalkers, specialists in melee combat; Brewmasters, who can withstand high levels of punishment; and the healing Mistweavers. Mists of Pandaria also includes a number of gameplay tweaks and additions, including a new level cap of 90, new instances, a new system of pet battling and collection, and the new "Challenge" mode, which finds groups competing to clear out dungeons as quickly as possible. The collector's edition includes an in-game Quilen mount and Lucky Quilen Cub pet, 208-page art book, Mists of Pandaria mouse pad, a behind the scenes DVD/Blu-ray two-disc set, and a soundtrack CD. Additionally, Diablo III owners receive a special banner sigil and accent while StarCraft II owners gain access to exclusive infested orc and night elf templar portraits.
