Discworld II: Mortality Bytes! is the second graphic adventure game set in Terry Pratchett's Discworld, a comic fantasy planet occupied by inept wizards, trolls, dragons, and a rather strange librarian. The player takes on the role of Rincewind, a cowardly wizard who is always trying to avoid anything even remotely dangerous or difficult. He begins the game in the wizard's academy, Unseen University. Death, the Grim Reaper, has gone missing, and Rincewind is given the task of finding him. The graphics are full-screen and are presented in cartoon style. The player journeys through this fantasy land, collecting items, solving puzzles and meeting strange characters. Discworld is known for its humor and the the game is designed to make the most of Pratchett's universe. The voice of Rincewind is performed by Monty Python's Eric Idle.
