Description

Gamers search for a missing pen pal named Aya in the visual novel Root Letter. The game is set in Matsue, the capital city of Japan's Shimane Prefecture, where players head to investigate the disappearance of their old friend. The action is split between interrogations of former classmates and characters who knew Aya, and simulations in which the character relives prior experiences with her. The choices users make have a direct outcome on which one of the game's multiple endings they see.
