Tiger Woods 2001 offers the digitized likenesses of five featured PGA players, including Justin Leonard, Mark Calcavecchia, Robert Damron, Brad Faxon, and Stewart Cink. Three authentic courses are available from the PGA Tour: Pebble Beach Golf Links, Poppy Hills Golf Course, and Spyglass Hill Golf Course, each of which is noted for its challenge. Along with the usual game features, EA SPORTS offers a new Challenge Game Mode which allows for competition in 12 events and the right to be called EA SPORTS PGA Tour Champion. If tournament golf is not your style, a "Play Now" feature offers 21 competitions. Complete these and you can unlock the red shirt worn by Tiger Woods.
