Description

Players take on the role of Vyse, a young man who aspires to be a pirate. However, pirates in this game are not those found sailing the high seas. As the title suggests, the game focuses on the skies and that is where the people live. In order to travel between the islands that float with the clouds, sky-ships are used. Joining Vyse on his adventures are his childhood friend Aika and a mysterious young woman named Fina. Known as Eternal Arcadia in Japan, Skies of Arcadia is set on two GD-ROMs featuring more than 50 hours of gameplay. There are six expansive lands to explore, more than 70 weapons available for use in battle, and 36 magical skills to be acquired. Players are also given the opportunity to design their own sky-ship and gather up to 15 crewmembers.
