After spending six years in a state penitentiary, you've been released. What are you going to do now? If you're Elwood Blues, you're getting the old band together and competing in a Battle of the Bands contest. There's only one small problem ... money -- you don't have any. Based on the 1998 film, Blues Brothers 2000 is a third-person action-adventure with twenty-five levels spanning complex sewers, city streets, and haunted mansions. Assuming the role of Elwood, you'll mash street thugs, solve puzzles, collect notes to create musical scores, and rescue former band members from danger. In the multi-player mode, two players battle it out in a heated dance contest because the Blues Brothers, in addition to being fine musicians, were known to cut-a-rug every now and then! Use a series of button combinations located above your character's head to win the competition. Blues Brothers 2000 also features a high-profile blues soundtrack that includes Nick Gravenites' Born in Chicago and Otis Redding's Respect. Developed by Player 1, Blues Brothers 2000 focuses on family-oriented gameplay with comedic violence.
