Space Raiders celebrates the 25th anniversary of one of the most important arcade games ever created: Space Invaders. Though the action in Space Raiders takes place in a true 3D environment, the game is designed to play like the 1978 coin-op classic. Players control one of three characters on a mission to find lost friends in a city under alien attack. The characters can strafe back and forth across the forefront of the screen, taking cover behind steels drums that act as shields, and firing shots at monstrous aliens as they approach from the distance. Space Raiders features a single-player Story Mode, and two players can blast baddies together in the game's Cooperative Survival Mode.
