As fans of Bandai's Cartoon Network series know, the "SD" stands for "Superior Defender," but it could also mean "super deformed," in reference to the cute, big-headed appearance of Gundam Force's giant robot heroes. This Game Boy Advance interpretation of the series is a combat-oriented side-scroller that has characters such as Captain Gundam, Bakunetsumaru, and Zero the Winged Knight traveling through the futuristic world of Neotopia, taking on Zapper Zaku and his evil Dark Axis allies in giant robot melee combat.
