Blinx, the platform hopping, crystal-vacuuming, chronologically manipulative cat who debuted in his own 2002 Xbox game returns to the Microsoft console in this 2004 sequel. Once again, players must make use of Blinx's ability to pause, slow, fast-forward, or rewind time itself, in order to solve 3D platform challenges. In this second game, Blinx leads a whole crew of fellow felines against a gang of unruly pigs who are using their ability to control space for various nefarious purposes. Players also have the opportunity to play as the pigs, and learn to use their powers to transport from one place to another, or create bottomless "black hole" pits that trap enemies. A new multiplayer Battle Mode allows player-controlled teams of time-shifting cats and space-morphing pigs to face off against one another in chaotic battles even superstring theorists would be hard-pressed to explain. Blinx 2: Masters of Time & Space also lets players customize their characters' appearances, to create distinct, personalized looks.
