Dr. Mario Classic NES Series (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2004)
Product Specs
Description
Released in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the hugely influential Nintendo Entertainment System console (which first appeared in Japan as the Famicom, in 1984), the "Classic NES Series" of Game Boy Advance cartridges present accurate versions of original NES games, for play on the handheld. First released at a time when puzzle games were flooding the market, Dr. Mario stood out as one of the best, combining a smooth learning curve, playful graphics, and memorable tunes. Mario tosses vitamin capsules made of red, yellow, and blue halves into a bottle filled with viruses of the same three colors. The player must rotate and move the capsules into place to clear the bottle of these nasty creatures. Viruses and capsules disappear when four of the same color are aligned, either vertically or horizontally.
