Description

The first commercially successful arcade game receives a futuristic face-lift in Pong: The Next Level. The premise is simple: move your rectangular paddle to hit a ricocheting ball past your opponent. Each miss results in a point for the winning side. While the play style may be similar to the classic coin-op, the visuals, options, and playing fields have changed. Choose from an assortment of 3D environments, including an ice rink, soccer field, and playground, offering such twists as animated characters or moving surfaces. Your paddle has also been updated with the potential to catch, release, and spin the ball. Further improve your offensive or defensive capabilities by acquiring power-ups throughout the game's 20 themed levels. Up to four players can participate simultaneously on the same screen in both competitive and cooperative modes.
