After a nuclear war has devastated the planet, ten different warriors, each of them intent on being the supreme ruler of the ruins, declare battle on one another. Kenoshiro, also called Fist of the North Star, wants to defeat all of the fighters, especially the evil ones, and begin rebuilding a peaceful society. In this fighting game you can take on the role of any of the ten fighters, including Kenoshiro. In the normal mode you fight each of the other characters one at a time. In the vs mode you and a friend can compete in head-to-head action using characters each of you have selected. In the team mode you and a friend each pick five fighters and battle to the death. The last man standing wins. Each of the fighters in Fist of the North Star has his own level of experience, his own attack and defensive parameters, and weapons and/or fighting tactics. For example: Uygur has a whip and is capable of a body crash, while Jagi can punch and is capable of a needle attack.
