After numerous golf games on the Genesis, EA Sports continues its golf series on the Saturn with PGA Tour 97. This is actually the one and only golf game released by them to appear on the Saturn. PGA Tour 97 is basically an upgrade of PGA Tour 96, a game that appeared on the Genesis as well as the PlayStation. Two new courses have been added, Sawgrass and Spanish Bay. Before playing each hole you can view a fly-by that may help players to develop a strategy. Hitting the ball is performed using the usual power arc. Using the arc, players not only affect the power of their shot, but also the accuracy of their shot. Multiple camera angles are available for players to view all of the action from.
