Description

Dark Savior is an action role-playing game from the development team behind 1993's Landstalker on Genesis. The futuristic storyline revolves around a bounty hunter named Garian in a race to recapture a murderous prisoner known as Bilan. In an interesting twist, Garian's encounter with Bilan will influence the rest of the game's events and ultimate outcome. As in Landstalker, the action in Dark Savior is viewed from an isometric perspective as the protagonist solves an assortment of puzzles and leaps across platforms to traverse dangerous, trap-filled terrain. Enemy encounters are structured like traditional fighting games, with best-of-three matches against a single opponent. Garian will also be able to visit cities to converse with other characters, purchase equipment, and receive quests.
