Along with Classic Shanghai, Shanghai: Triple Threat includes three new ways to play the tile game: The Great Wall, Beijing, and Golden Tile. Pairs of tiles are removed each turn in The Great Wall causing tiles above to drop down. Beijing requires players to slide rows of tiles to find matches. In Golden Tile, layers must be removed quickly in search of a golden tile. Solitaire play and two-player options are available for each game with both tournament and race the clock modes. Three themed tiles sets are also included: Mah-Jongg, Zodiac, and Music.
