Wrestling fans return to the ring for WWE WrestleMania 21 in this Xbox exclusive from THQ. Based on the real-life, 21st annual event, the game features a roster of contemporary villains and heroes of the sport, along with some all-time classic wrestlers. Players can fight as or against The Big Show, Chris Benoit, Ric Flair, Triple H, or even Eugene, along with at least 40 others. Celebrity commentary and motion-captured movements add authenticity, and players can custom-develop their characters' appearance, entrance, and move sets as they battle their way up the rankings. WWE WrestleMania 21 is the first WWE to offer the Pro Reversal system, which provides a counter move for each and every attack move. WWE WrestleMania 21 is designed to offer online play for up to four through Xbox Live. Xbox owners who purchased copies of the initial retail run of the game reported difficulties connecting to the online service. Responding quickly, publisher THQ released a patch through Xbox Live, almost immediately after the game's release, which fixes the online connection problems. THQ also offered to replace the game disc by mail.
