Gamers can play old-school favorites in a new way, as Retro Atari Classics comes to Nintendo's touch screen-equipped handheld. The ten classic games included are Pong, Missile Command, Asteroids, Breakout, Centipede, Tempest, Warlords, Gravitar, Lunar Lander, and Sprint. The collection is designed to provide tight, authentic-feeling control through the touch screen. All games are playable in a faithful "Classic" mode, or with enhanced, graffiti-inspired graphics in "Tagged" mode. Up to four players can compete through the handheld's wireless communication capabilities, and two can go head-to-head on the same DS.
