Description
As the first release in this series for the PlayStation 2, All-Star Baseball offers detailed graphics with a polygon count several times greater than that in previous versions of the game, while retaining and expanding upon many of the successful gameplay features of earlier All-Star Baseball releases. Several options allow individual players to customize the difficulty and interface settings. The game features six modes of play including batting practice and a homerun derby, as well as exhibition and regular season games. Licensed by both Major League Baseball and the MLB Player's Association, this game features real life teams and players, while the Arizona Diamondback's manager Bob Brenly and regular Diamondback play-by-play man Thom Brennaman provide in-game commentary.
