Description

Zathura based on the contemporarily released feature film, which was inspired by the Chris Van Allen novel of the same title. As in Van Allen's similar work, Jumanji, the story of Zathura follows two children who are transported to a fantastical realm by playing an old, unusual board game. When brothers Walter and Danny Budwing discover the dusty old game "Zathura" in their basement, they are drawn by its spacefaring theme and begin to play. Soon, they find that they are spacefarers themselves, as it seems their entire house has been launched into the cosmos. Though 15 levels of 3D platforming, the boys will solve puzzles and battle three dozen different types of futuristic enemies. Players can take control of Danny, Walter, or a robot, each character offering different skills and special abilities.
