Haunting Starring Polterguy (Sega Genesis, 1993)

Product Specs
Description
In Haunting Starring Polterguy you are Polterguy, and it's your job to scare the greedy Sardini family out of their house. Transform everyday objects into tools of terror, such as a couch that growls, a rug that bleeds, or a skull that flies across the room. Use the overhead map to find those greedy Sardinis and scare them out of the house, but beware of lurking Ecto Beasts (and the family dog). Haunting Starring Polterguy uses three-quarters perspective and features over 400 items, each with its own graphics and sound effects. The control pad allows you to walk, jump, and kick your way through the game. You also have five special spells to assist you on your escapades through the Sardini house, and through the dungeon's 12 different paths. You can use your special spells to really get under the family's skin and make them run for the hills, but do it quickly, because your ectoplasm is low -- if it runs out, it's the dungeon for you. Haunting Starring Polterguy can be played by one or two players. In the two-player game, each person takes turns controlling a different Polterguy.
