Description
In Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2, the land of Lyndbaum is where you begin your journey. You can play as either a girl or boy child of the Craftlord clan, guardians of the land, creators of great weapons, and companions of the Guardian Beasts. After selecting your character, you are presented with a string of questions determining which of the four Guardian Beasts will accompany you on your adventures. Your traveling companion can offer magical support and powers that include healing, buffs, and elemental assaults. After the beast is chosen, you can head out to seek fame, fortune, and a fight. Gameplay consists of exploration, conversation with NPCs, exploring dungeons, slaying enemies for gold and experience, and blacksmithing to create and upgrade weapons. To forge your own equipment, you must first acquire a technique from another character, and then find the proper ingredients. There are six types of weapons you can make: drills, axes, knuckles, spears, hammers, and swords. After creating a weapon, try it out by starting a fight with the first enemy you see. A fight sequence in Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 features 2D side-scrolling combat with access to a maximum of three equipped weapons, and your inventory of magical and supportive items.
