Product Specs
Description
Though inspired by both the original F-Zero for the Super NES and that game's N64 sequel, F-Zero X, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity is a new game in its own right, featuring never-before seen tracks and vehicles. As was the case with its predecessors, this launch title for the Game Boy Advance is all about speed. The game is designed to make use of the GBA's improved technological specifications to provide a style of high velocity racing never before experienced on a handheld system. In a continuation of the setting and storyline of the earlier F-Zero games, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity takes place 25 years after the high-speed competitions featured in the 1991 Super NES title. Players race against the descendants of the original F-Zero racers. Competitions between human opponents are supported as well, as up to four F-Zero: Maximum Velocity players can race head-to-head using a link cable.
