Tecmo World Cup lets you choose from 24 international teams in either Professional or Exhibition play modes. To win the World Cup you must first choose the Professional level and make your way through the qualifying rounds. The game features slide tackles, corner kicks, throw-ins, penalty shots, as well as offensive and defensive formations. The field is shown from a horizontal perspective with large, colorful players. In addition, the game clock can be set to 15, 30, or 45 minutes. Think the computer is too easy? Five difficulty levels are available, or you can challenge a second player to determine the real soccer champion!
