Save the land of Rune from the evil Dark ruler who has returned in the Shining Force developed for Sega Genesis. In this RPG video game, fight every enemy army and kill its leader or army men to move ahead to a town or a landmark. Every battle of the Shining Force takes place in a square grid that is occupied by each unit and every unit can move up to a fixed amount of squares along the battlefield. Even if your force is defeated by the enemy army in this single player Sega Genesis game, you can bring back your allies to retry the battle. The leader of your army - Max in this RPG video game can walk around, interact with people, and even choose which army's members will be used for the fight.
