Description
In Steel Empire you pilot one of two available aircraft in an alternative world filled with airborne war islands, mammoth battleships, cannon-carrying armored locomotives and the like as you try to defend the Republic of Silverhead from the evil Motorhead Empire. It is the Age of Steel and the military might of the Motorhead Empire has enslaved virtually the entire planet. One hope for freedom remains -- The Republic of Silverhead. After choosing either the fast and relatively vulnerable Striker airplane or the slow, but armored and powerful Z-O1 Zeppelin airship, you'll begin your voyage through seven stages of shooter action. The game takes place in and around the Mine City of Rahl, the Liedengel Caverns, the Sky District Zektor, Gardani Beach, Dama City, the Germburn Fortress, and Lunar Space. As you shoot your way through the game, you can pick up a number of ship enhancements such as weapon strength, outrigger planes, speed boosts, and the awesome power of lightning bombs. Both ships are equipped with front and rear firing capabilities. The Motorhead Empire has filled the skies, oceans and lands with some of the most massive and deadly machines of war the universe has ever seen. These include the Titan Tank, which fires propeller bombs and high-speed rockets, the Navair Submarine, which can fire salvos of up to five massive missiles while still submerged, and the Lunarnaut, which is loaded to the gills with weapons and can withstand most any attack. Despite overwhelming odds, you can bring freedom to this once proud world. Play Steel Empire and show that you've got what it takes to end this incredible display of tyranny.
