The most popular wrestlers of the early-'90s era of the World Wrestling Federation have been brought together in WWF King of the Ring. Choose from ten WWF superstars or create one of your own as you wrestle toward glory via one of four game modes. Play a simple one-on-one game or tag team match versus the computer or a friend. When you feel like you're ready, it's time to play tournament mode, where you must defeat every wrestler to claim the World Wrestling Federation Championship Belt. Finally, the King of the Ring crown is the most coveted prize in this game (as the title might imply). To attain it, you must win the bracketed, single-elimination King of the Ring tournament. So whether your favorite wrestler is Hulk Hogan, the Undertaker, Lex Luger, or even yourself, his potential for greatness lies in your hands.
