Continuing their line of game shows titles for the NES GameTek brings you Double Dare, which at one time was a staple of the Nickelodeon television network. A game that will test children's reflexes and brain power, Double Dare is a series of wacky contests. Players must engage in such activities as trampoline bouncing, a spaghetti shooting, cake catching, water basketball, putty golf (using eggs), bowling (using cantaloupes), and kangaroo catch. They must also catch rings on their heads, play catch with a gorilla, catch pies in their pants, and bounce their partners onto a trampoline. There are more than 1,000 questions in this game, each of which involves knowledge of general trivia. At the end of the game, the team with the highest winnings gets to compete in an obstacle course.
