Everyone's favorite devilish troublemakers are back in 'Gremlins 2: The New Batch' for the Nintendo Entertainment System. This single-player mix of platforming, puzzle solving, and shooting was produced in 1990 by Sunsoft to go along with the comedy horror film of the same name. The player assumes the role of movie protagonist Gizmo, whom the evil Gremlins have trapped inside Clamp Centre. Armed with only tomatoes, matches, and a bow and arrow, the goal is to battle through obstacles, a horde of enemies, and a gauntlet of two-dimensional map levels. Ultimately, Gizmo must reach the control center and destroy the Gremlins for good.
