Puzznic (Nintendo Entertainment System, 1990)

Product Specs
Description
Based on the 1989 Arcade game of the same name, Puzznic has you moving blocks around the playfield, matching colors and designs (such as diamonds, spheres, pyramids and plusses) to remove pairs of blocks. Removing more than two blocks with a single move earns you chain reaction bonus points. You can only move the boxes right and left (or up when a block is on an elevator) as gravity automatically pulls the pieces downward. There are 16 levels with 10 puzzles for each level. After completing a puzzle, you will receive points for time left on the clock and a stage bonus for the current level. Once you have mastered the title game, you may want to try Gravnic, a similar, but much harder game included in the package. Instead of moving just one shape at a time, you have to move all the shapes simultaneously by shifting their gravity. There is no time limit in this mode, but each puzzle must be solved in a specified number of moves. Gravnic has eight levels with ten puzzles for each level. Continue and password features are available for saving your progress.
