Sega's SegaScope 3-D glasses are required for playing Maze Hunter 3-D, an overhead-view game in which players wander through a series of mazes (20 levels in all), bopping enemies with an iron bar while searching for a key and then searching for the exit. Enemies can also be jumped over or simply avoided. Finding your way through the mazes is a breeze, but battling monsters is a challenge since one hit kills your character and it's impossible to attack diagonally. Gameplay is tedious, but the pseudo 3D effects, such as raised walls and a character that appears to be jumping toward you, are impressive.
