The Castle of Shikigami II (Nintendo GameCube)

Product Specs
Description
Sequel to Alfa System's vertical shooter for the G-Net arcade system, PS2, and Xbox. Shikigami no Shiro 2 was developed for the more powerful NAOMI arcade hardware, introduces two new characters to the series' curious modern-fantasy setting. The game, which plays like a traditional shooter in the style of Ikaruga, enables gamers to control flying humans instead of ships. Featuring advanced particle systems, large-scale bosses, and tons of action on screen, the game marries the traditional 2D gameplay of classic shooters like R-Type with turning and twisting 3D polygonal backgrounds found in more modern shooter offerings. Part I was released in the west under the title Mobile Light Force.
